KOTA KINABALU: The prolonged lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic has affected many lives leading to loss of income and hardship in purchasing daily food supplies and essential needs.
St Simon Caritas, with the support of Parish Priest Fr Cosmas Lee, decided to take the initiative to assist by distributing food baskets to the affected and needy groups in the community.
Donors who may wish to contribute towards the programme can donate in cash or kind.
A. Cash donations can be made online to St Simon account:

B. Donations in kind
Food items as follows:
1) 5 kg Rice
2) Noodles – Mee or Meehoon
3) Canned food
4) Cooking Oil 1kg
5) Flour 1 kg
6) Biscuits
7) Salt
8) Coffee, Tea
9) Powdered Milk
10) Sugar 1 kg
11) Laundry detergent
12) Any other type of non-perishable food.
13) Eggs ( only to collect on specific days)
All donations can be sent starting from July 10, 2021 to our collection centre at St Simon Parish Hall from 8.30am to 5pm (Monday to Friday).
Please advise before delivery.These donated items will be distributed later in food baskets to eligible recipients who are in need of immediate assistance.
