KOTA KINABALU: The rector of St Simon Catholic Church Likas announced during the live-stream Mass here, Sunday, that parishioners who would like to make All Souls Day Mass offering can do so via its Google Form (http://bit.ly/AllSoulsMassOffering).
Fr Cosmas Lee also encouraged all faithful to watch the parish’s live-stream of the St Simon Feast Day celebration next Sunday (Oct 25) as well as to invite their family and friends to celebrate with them the special occasion.
“We will be celebrating the feast of St Simon the Zealot, our parish’s feast day,” Fr Cosmas said during the live-stream. “Officially, the feast falls on the 28th, but we celebrate it on a Sunday so that more people will be able to join us.”
He said the Mass will be live-steamed as usual at 8.30am.
“Please invite your friends and relatives to join in this Mass. It’s OK to follow any Mass in the world but on our feast day, we all should try to be together even though it’s through a virtual gathering,” he said.
Meanwhile, Fr Cosmas announced that the All Saints and All Souls Day Masses will also be livestreamed at the following schedule:
- All Saints Day: Nov 1 (Sunday) – 8.30am
- All Souls Day: Nov 2 (Monday) – 7.30pm
