KOTA KINABALU: Some 30 people attended the “Project Runway” event organised by the St Simon Catholic Church’s Youth Ministry, here, on April 1.
According to the ministry head, Mirina Lim, the project was a one-of-a-kind event for parishes.
“This is one event that focused on looking and feeling good for God,” she said.
“It was a fun and purposeful project that not only allowed the youths to enjoy themselves dressing up but to also remember the importance of feeling good and being confident when they dress up well.
“And ultimately the reason to dress up for God, giving their best in everything they do. We hope and pray that the youths had fun as much as the committee had, planning for it.”

Mirina added that the “great combination of input sessions” were led by Derek Chong, Doris Lim and Peter Prabha, and to top it off with a catwalk competition coached by Natalie Prabha.
Also present was Irene Liew-Prabha, one of the guest judges for the catwalk event.
