
Dear Parishoners,
We have just concluded the Year of Faith and entered into the time of Advent. To focus ourselves in this season of preparation, our parish has announced the following to be this year’s Christmas theme:
“Christ is born – HOPE – No Matter What“
The theme’s main focus is to remind us to have hope no matter how bleak the circumstances are in our lives. All our temporary sufferings are nothing compared to what Christ’s love holds for those who are steadfast in placing their hope in the One who sent Him to be with us through the Immaculate Conception.
Please take note of the following times to ensure that you do not miss out on any of the important dates this season:
11th December 2013 (Wednesday) @ 7:30pm
Penitential Service with individual confession.
14th December 2013 (Saturday) @ 2pm to 4pm
Recollection for all those involved in carolling.
15th December 2013 (Sunday) @ 5pm Mass:
Commissioning of Carollers & Community Singing of Christmas Carols at mass.
16th to 20th December 2013
Home Carolling
24th December 2013 (Tuesday) @ 7:30PM
Christmas Vigil Mass with Christmas carols sung beginning 6:30pm
25th December 2013 (Wednesday) @ 8:30AM
Christmas Day Mass (NO EVENING MASS)
NOTE: There will be no Holy Hour on Thursdays for the entire Advent Season. Mass on Thursdays will be at 6.30pm as usual as all priests will be away performing penitential services at other parishes.
